How can I improve my module's accessibility quickly? On your module's main page click on "Reports" and then click on "Accessibility outline report." Here you will find a list of potential issues. Under any row that has a "failed," click on the the 3 dot/line icon on the right hand side.

From here we recommend fixing issues with Bold text and Image Alt text. These are visible as "Fix bold" and "Fix image alt text" along the headings at the top.
Bold textOne of the most common accessibility issues on modules is bold text. Bold text doesn't appear as such on screen readers for students with visual impairments.
To resolve this, any bold text must be changed to "strong" text.
Image alt text
All images within a module must be tagged so that students with visual impairments can have an audio description of what is in the image.
For relevant images such as historical images, a sentence or two that succinctly describe the image will work.
If the image is of a book cover or something without relevance to the course material, then it can be marked as "for presentation purposes" only.
How can I tell if something has poor accessibility? You can access the Accessibility report by going to the module page on QMplus, clicking on "More," and then clicking on "Brickfield Accessibility+ Toolkit"
