Section outline

    • Campus M is the attendance monitoring functionality that all academic staff must use to log student attendance in their seminars. The attendance monitoring tile (bottom right corner) allows staff to do this.

On the day of your seminar(s) you can click on the attendance monitoring tile and you should see a code for each of your seminars. This code should be given to students who can then input the code on their own QM app to record their attendance in your seminar.

You can log the attendance of your students manually by clicking "Check in students" and then selecting a student(s) and choosing the green or red options to mark them as present or absent.

Staff have up to 4 weeks after a seminar has taken place to go back into the attendance monitoring tile and update the attendance information of their students. To do this, you will need to click on the attendance monitoring tile, followed by "history" and then "last 4 weeks." You can then scroll through a list to find your seminar and update the attendance data. If you are having trouble finding your seminar you can press "CTRL + F" and enter the date of your seminar to narrow down the list.

If you are facing issues with the attendance monitoring tile not appearing or any other problem, please contact spir-qmplus@qmul.ac.uk and we will send you an excel copy of your register that you can use to log attendance while we resolve the issue.
