As part of the annual test of services, at 7am on the 25th April 2017, ULCC will be testing the failover of our highly available firewalls.
The test will require shutdown and failover testing of both the main firewall to the secondary unit, and then the secondary to the main firewall. During each failover step, tests shall be performed to confirm connectivity and service migration. Once the tests are complete, both firewalls shall be returned to full service running in high-availability mode.
During the tests we are not anticipating any major outages, although there may be brief outages while services migrate between firewall devices and sessions re-establish during the testing. These outages are expected to be less than one minute for each test.
We expect all testing to be completed before 8.30am but if issues are reported at any stage, the test will be aborted and both firewalls brought back into service.
