Dear QMplus users,
Every summer we upgrade QMplus in order to keep an up-to-date system and to enhance functionality within the learning environment. Currently QMplus is using Moodle version 3.0 technology, and this year we will be moving to version 3.2, which is now available with richer features, more reliability and a better user experience.
When will QMplus be upgraded?
QMplus will be upgraded between the 10-12th July 2017
As in previous years, during the upgrade period the QMplus environment will be placed in 'restricted access' mode - there will be limited functionality and occasional outages. We aim to release the new upgraded environment to users by the end of Wednesday, 12th July.
Impact to users during the upgrade:
Users may be able to log into QMplus and view content during the upgrade, but will not be able to add or edit any content. QMplus is considered 'at risk' during the upgrade, and in the days following the upgrade while we monitor the site. There will be some unavoidable disruption - for example, the site will be unstable at times when we need to take the system offline - but we always aim to keep disruption to a minimum.
