CANCER RESEARCH INTERNSHIPS - SUMMER 2017.

Obviously a charity, so not paid, but some travel & lunch expenses.  Often not full time, so simultaneous part-time/weekend work would be possible.

Some great 'streams' such as Marketing, Research & Policy - see below.

We have 40 roles available in a variety of different departments and we’d love you to apply. Our voluntary internships last for 12 weeks and our Summer intake will be taking place from Monday 12 June – Friday 1 September 2017.

Our application process has changed. Our 40 internship roles that have been organised into 7 general 'streams'. Each stream contains roles that are broadly similar; they require you to have similar skills and will give you broadly similar projects on your placement. The difference is that each role may be within a different team of the organisation or have a slightly different focus e.g. communicating with scientists or communicating with fundraising groups.

You will be able to apply to up to 2 streams but you must complete separate application forms for different streams

The streams are:

  • Digital & Innovation
  • Events
  • Finance
  • HR, Development & Partnerships
  • Marketing, Communications & Engagement
  • Policy & Public Affairs
  • Research, Strategy & Data Analysis

If your initial application is successful, you will be given more information about the specifics of your role before your interview. Interviews will take place between 1 May and 12 May.

For more information about the internship scheme, the application process and tips for creating a strong application, please read the attached Internship Information Pack.

To apply, please visit the Internship Pages on our website and click on the ‘Apply Now’ button. You will be redirected to our Internships board where you can search for a stream to suit you and complete the relevant online application form. Please note, applications will close at midday on Wednesday 12 April.
