EVENT: EXPLORING CAREERS IN NEWS JOURNALISM - 14th March 6.15 - 7.30pm - Bancroft Building 3.26
The last of three Career Conversations events around 'Careers in Communications'.
If you have any interest in exploring a career journalism, come and learn from the stories & experience of our guests. Our news journalism panel is now confirmed and we have three speakers working in diverse areas of news journalism, two of whom are recent QM graduates.
- Yasmine Djadoudi, who graduated from QM in 2012 and is a Broadcast News Journalist for BBC Southeast and Under 30s Panel Member on BBC News Group Board.
- Deepa Babington, currently the Multimedia Editor for REUTERS in Europe, Middle East & Africa. Deepa was previously the Reuters Athens Chief Correspondent and has plenty of experience of high stress, high profile news situations as a foreign correspondent in Europe.
- Mike Brown, graduated from QM in 2013, did a Masters in Journalism at Columbia University, New York City. He is currently London based Early Morning News Editor for New York news website Inverse.com.
