USING THE INTERNET AS A RESOURCE

Access to web sites and e-mail facilities from remote sites is useful throughout a student’s training in general practice. It can be used for study and research purposes as well as maintaining contact with the college. Any urgent messages and changes of venues etc that require notification will be done electronically.

Each practice should provide a PC with internet access for students to use. Students will use QMPlus for information on courses and placements http://qmplus.qmul.ac.uk/

A login can be provided for GP tutors who would like to access student information on QMPlus by request at the start of each academic year

Please be aware of confidentiality issues and that inappropriate use of the computer will be taken as a disciplinary matter and should be brought to the attention of the unit convenor.
