Values and behaviours in the standards
Up until now, we have explored what we mean by knowledge and skills, and how these are mapped within the apprenticeship standards. We have also seen that each of the core and specialist areas can be seen within their own distinct quadrants in the image below.
So, where do values and behaviours fit into this model?
We should consider these elements as underpinning all that we do as practioners and educationalists.
With values, these will be things supported by you and things that you care about.
And behaviours are those things modelled by you.
