4 Locomotor Tutor Training - Thursday 26th September 2018
The Training Consists Of A Review Of Central
Locomotor Teaching Sessions. We Think This Is A Vital Opportunity To Meet New
And Existing Tutors, To Share Experiences And Hope That This Will Make For A
Stimulating Afternoon As We Consider The Year Ahead And The Challenges Of Small
Group Teaching In This Setting. All Tutors Who Are Interested In Teaching
Central Locomotor In 2018-19 Are Welcome To Attend. The Training Is
Obligatory For All New Central Locomotor Tutors, Including Any Tutors Who Have
Not Attended This Formal Training Session Before. We Would Strongly
Encourage Existing Tutors To Attend As Well.
Community Locomotor Tutors Are Also Welcome To Attend. This Will Be An Opportunity To Learn About Directly Observed Consultations (DOC) Which Are Now A Formal Requirement Of The Community Locomotor Placements. The Training Will Be An Opportunity To See How These Consultations Are Done Within Central Locomotor Teaching And Will Be Good Preparation For Teaching These Skills In Practice.
