About the Role

As a Privacy Intern, you will be part of a team dedicated to designing and delivering procedures to embed privacy practices across various business areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting and promoting compliance with data privacy legislation and best practices.
  • Assisting with UK and international strategic data protection initiatives.
  • Engaging with business and project teams to advise on privacy controls, including conducting data privacy impact assessments and mitigating risks.
  • Supporting Privacy Culture Ltd's core services: Culture Horizon, Maturity Horizon, and Learning Horizon.
  • Identifying compliance gaps and proposing steps to address and implement corrective measures.
Knowledge & Skills

  • Previous experience or exposure in the Data Protection/Privacy field.
  • Strong knowledge of GDPR and the UK Data Protection Act 2018.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive and quick learner eager to take on new challenges.

  • Start Date: Week commencing 27th January 2025
  • Duration: 4 weeks
  • Hours: 10 hours per week
  • Benefits: Lunch and travel expenses for working days will be covered.
