This is the website and video I discussed in health inequalities seminar on food insecurity. Great idea of sustainable food security using urban agriculture and community allotment gardens. Could it be used in English-style allotments? We already have some urban farms in the east end! great fun to visit if you never have!

I completely forgot that the castle climbing wall up near Manor House which I go to on a regular basis also runs an urban garden! Lots of produce is used at their on-site cafe. Never really paid it much attention before but i'll ask about it next time i'm there! I just found their sustainability blog too:
