Hi there!

This quick message is mostly focused towards those of you who just completed your final year; for everyone else, please do take a look at the events and opportunities available on QM CareersHub, or drop me a line to f.bush@qmul.ac.uk if you would like to book an appointment or have any questions.

The Scheme at Penguin Random House is now open. This is a full time, six month paid internship from September to March, immersed within one of the business areas, and is a positive action scheme for groups currently underrepresented in Penguin. To apply, you'll need to identify as coming from a lower socio-economic background and/or from a minority ethnic background. You can find more details on their website, here, and the deadline to apply is 21st June at 5pm.

If you are planning to pursue a career in law, and will be studying at the University of Law, please be aware that there is a partnership with Queen Mary with benefits including a fee discount and scholarships. Take a look at the information and eligibility requirements here; if applicable to you, the deadline to apply for a scholarship is 4pm on 30th June.

Graduates can access support from the Careers & Enterprise team for three years after finishing your studies; take a look here at more information about what you can access.

As above, please do email me on f.bush@qmul.ac.uk if you have any queries or would like to book an appointment!

Best, and enjoy the sunshine,

Fliss
