There are six paid 12-month internship opportunities available at Sky, with an application closing date of Tuesday 2nd MayThe roles include the following: 

  • Assistant producer for digital, audio or TV, Sky News
  • Trainee reporter & journalist, Sky Sports
  • Client services & operations trainee, Sky Studios Elstree
  • Editorial & production assistant, Sky Studios
  • Programme strategy & operations assistant, UK Content
  • Senior runners, Sky Studios Elstree

These roles would ideally be suited to anyone looking to pursue a career in television, journalism, production, or content delivery. There is a chance for cross-team movement between: Sky Studios Elstree, Sky Sports, Sky News and UK Content.

Arts and Heritage Project Intern – Learning Through The Arts

Learning Through The Arts utilises the arts as a means of self-improvement and individual development. They are passionate about arts development and educational support and are geared towards community development and promoting learning, creativity and skills development. They are currently looking for an Arts and Heritage Project Intern. This internship will suit those who want to gain valuable experience in how the arts can be used as a tool for engagement, support and development within the community. This internship will also provide the opportunity to get real-world experience working in the arts and heritage sector by providing opportunities to get involved in a variety of projects. The intern will deliver community focused Arts learning programmes across different age groups and be passionate about making a difference in the community.

Intellectual Property Officer - WaterSangoma

WaterSangoma is a leading technology and research-based organisation that focuses on developing solutions to mitigate the risks associated with climate change for communities. They combine satellite data, socio-economic data, and indigenous knowledge to develop predictive models that enable decision-makers to make informed choices about climate solutions.

The internship exists to provide an opportunity for a highly motivated individual to gain practical experience in the field of climate change risk mitigation and contribute to ongoing projects that aim to mitigate the risks associated with climate change for communities. The role will involve working with internal stakeholders, external attorneys, and the relevant government agencies to ensure the organisation's intellectual property rights are protected and enforced. The ideal candidate will have experience in patents, trademarks, copyrights, and other forms of intellectual property.
