Dear all,

I hope you're well!

I'm just getting in touch to let you know that nominations for the QMSU Education Awards are now open.

The Queen Mary Students Union puts on these Education Awards every year, and this is your chance to nominate anyone who you think has positively contributed to your education experience here at QM!

There are awards for Course Reps, Student Councillors, and Teaching staff:

  • For Course Reps, you'll have a chance to nominate the S&E Course Rep of the Year, the Course Rep Collaboration Award, and the Course Rep Campaign Award
  • For Student Councillors, you'll be able to nominate School Rep of the Year, the Student Council Campaign of the Year, Student Councillor of the Year, and the Best Representation and Feedback Award.
  • For Teaching staff, you can nominate people for Teacher of the Year, Academic Advice Champion, Assessment & Feedback Champion, Student Voice Champion, Innovative Teaching & Technology Champion, Support Staff Member of the Year, Postgraduate Teaching Champion (to nominate postgraduate demonstrators) and Education for Sustainable Development

You can find more details on what each of these awards would roughly entail on the QMSU website

The nomination process is quick, as it's just a short form they ask you to fill out telling them who you want to nominate, what Faculty they are in, and why you're wanting to nominate them. You can find more information about it all on the QMSU website

Best wishes,

Gwen
