We are looking for Student Ambassadors to represent the School of Geography at various activities during the 2022-23 academic year.
The main duties of this post will include helping to set up, usher and assist visitors at campus and virtual events such as open days, public lectures and research workshops. You will be asked to assist with other duties such as social media, blogging and promotional videos/photos.
The position is paid at £12.45 per hour. The flexible nature of this role means that job opportunities are offered an ad-hoc basis.
You also will receive training on how to best fulfil the role. This is great opportunity to add professional experience to your CV, and a chance to strengthen your interpersonal and communication skills.
You must be:
- A student in your second or final year of study with Geography as your home school
- Enthusiastic about Queen Mary
- Knowledgeable about campus facilities, and your programmes of study
- Reliable
- Punctual
- Motivated
- A team player
- A good communicator
- Someone who enjoys engaging with and meeting new people
