We have a large double room available in a big house near Brixton (10-15 walk from Brixton tube, 2 mins walk from Loughborough Junction overground). Available now.
THE ROOM
(£800 pcm + bills)
The room is a lovely sized double facing over the garden so nice and quiet and cosy.
We’re pretty well stocked on furniture across the rest of the house, the bedroom would need to be furnished by yourself but does feature a full wall of shelving for storage.
THE HOUSE
The shared spaces in the house are an absolute bonus. The kitchen/dining area is big with lots of countertop space and there is plenty of storage space for food.
Our living room is also pretty massive and it’s kinda split into two: a sofa/tv area and then a makeshift office.
The garden is very big, has a patio and garden furniture and is great in the summer months. It also has a shed for storage!
THE LOCATION
We’re ideally located close enough to Brixton to walk and enjoy its pubs and restaurants, whilst not so close that we’re in amongst the chaos. Our road is quiet, next to a nice park (Ruskin park), and close enough to supermarkets (Tesco Express/Co-op 3mins, Big Sainsburys 15mins).
We’re also a 15min walk from Herne Hill, and a 3-minute walk to Loughborough Junction train station which is at the end of our road. Loughborough JunctionTrain station is on the Thameslink- a 10/15 minute ride into central London.
THE HOUSEMATES
We are three girls. All professionals working the 9-5 scene (in digital marketing, fashion) so generally don’t go too crazy in the week, but still enjoy to pubbing/nice restaurants.
We’re generally pretty social, but of course entirely respectful when people need their own space. Overall we’re a pretty chilled-out bunch and try to avoid any dramas!
OTHER STUFF
We have a tumble dryer, heated floors (bathroom & kitchen) and a roll top bath.
The total rent includes all bills and household items ( loo roll/ washing tabs etc)
