For this weeks lecture (Topic 4, The Illness Experience) it is not essential that you do the reading beforehand. However, it would be useful if possible to read through EITHER the Hyden OR Charmaz papers prior to the lecture to ensure you have some background information on the issues which will be covered. The Charmaz paper is required reading for the virtual seminar.
