I am running an undergraduate workshop this Thursday which might be relevant to some of you if you are investigating 'what next' after your Masters. If several Masters students attend you can work together in your own group. The focus of the workshop is on you working out what your skills & values are and how they may relate to career choice. So there is nothing specifically undergraduate about the actual content. Details as follows:
What can I do with my History degree?
This week – Thursday 15th – 4-6pm in Arts Two.
Interactive Workshop in which you will
· Explore Careers people do with a History degree
· Identify & evidence some of the many skills that you already have
· Explore matching the skills from studying History to a range of careers
· Investigate careers that probably had not occurred to you
· Identify your values & priorities and how they might influence career choice
