Topic outline

  • General

  • 1. Introduction and Instructions

    • Quizzes can be used to promote engagement and identify prior knowledge and skills gaps for individuals and cohorts in order to personalise learning and meet individual needs. From a summative perspective they are an efficient way of judging a student’s knowledge and skills and when used in formative assessment, they offer an opportunity to learn actively rather than simply by taking information in passively. Quizzes on QMplus allow teachers to create online tests with a variety of questions types, such as multiple choice, short answer, fill in the blank, mathematical formulas and many more. Quizzes can be set up to be marked and provide feedback automatically to students based to their answers.
