  • You can use past exam papers as a guide to your revision to get a sense of the style and format of the questions in the exams. Please note that some past exam papers might be different to the exam paper that you will sit, as they might not be relevant to the current content of the module. So, always refer to the current module material for any question about the structure and format of your exam paper.

Module Organisers do not normally publish exam paper solutions. However, if you attempt the questions and bring them to your module organiser for feedback, they can let you know what you've done well and what you may have struggled with. This is so that you can actively engage with the past exam papers and obtain a broad and deep understanding of the module content, rather than passively reading answers.

In 2022/23 and 2023/24, final examinations for level 6 modules (coded ECN3...) were open note assessments. This policy was adopted to mitigate the continuing legacy of the pandemic-era disruptions to secondary and higher education. From 2024/25 onwards, level 6 modules will NOT be open note, unless you are informed otherwise by the module organiser.
