What is AI Menti Creator [edit]
It’s a chat-based assistant that helps users build Mentimeter presentations quickly. It generates structured slides, questions, and activities based on a short prompt, making it easier to create interactive sessions.
How to initiate the use of AI Menti Creator [edit]
- Start a chat
- First, go to Mentimeter (https://www.mentimeter.com/). Click “Start with AI” button.
- Find “Start with AI” and select from the option available or click on “something else”.

- First, go to Mentimeter (https://www.mentimeter.com/). Click “Start with AI” button.
- Choose the type of Menti you want to create.
e.g. a live quiz, questions for your audience in a live quiz, questions for your audience, or sharable survey.
- If you’re not sure, select “I’m not sure” and the assistant will help you decide.

- As an example, if I am a lecturer in Dentistry, and I want to create a pre-knowledge check activity for my new students during the class to activate the discussion and participation, I can send a brief prompt to the AI chat.

- Once you have confirmed your responses, the system will begin creating the slides.
This may take a few minutes, depending on the complexity of your request.
- If you’re not sure, select “I’m not sure” and the assistant will help you decide.
- Review and improve the draft
- After you enter your initial prompt, the AI assistant may ask follow-up questions to better understand your request. For example, it may ask you to:
- Narrow down the topic
- Clarify the student level
- Specify the tone (e.g. formal, interactive, competitive)
- Indicate the number or type of questions
- Continue responding in the chat to refine your presentation.
As you provide more details, suggested slides will appear on the right-hand side of the screen.
