Removing the video element

The default for Q-Review recordings is: video content of the presenter, the image from the laptop/computer or document camera, plus the audio of the presentation. Sometimes a presenter may decide that the video of themselves is not required/desirable and that they would like to remove it from the recording - this guide below details how this can be done.

  1. Login to Q-Review via QMplus.
  2. Locate the recording which you wish to reprocess with the video element omitted.
This recording may be located in your 'Library' or under the course's name. Open the recording and click the Media Editor icon in the left hand vertical menu.

Remember, you have to click Save to save your changes to the original media, or Save As to create new media with these changes. You can also simply Exit the editor, and your changes are saved in the editor but are NOT applied to the original yet.

Before you have saved, you can also Undo/redo these changes as needed, revert to original, or continue to edit the media as you normally would.
