Update Captions in EchoVideo
To update captions in EchoVideo, you must be the owner of the video or have the appropriate access permissions.
-
Open the video in EchoVideo that you want to update.
-
Select the Text Editor icon (the T inside a speech bubble).
- Click the Upload button on the right-hand side (the cloud icon with an upward-pointing arrow).

4. Drag and drop your caption file from your device or cloud storage, or browse to select it.
Important: If you are uploading captions from QMplus Media (Kaltura), the file format will usually be .SRT. EchoVideo uses .VTT files, so you will need to convert the file before uploading it. 5. Once you have selected the file, click Upload and wait for the processing to complete.

6. The uploaded file will be added as a new transcript version. Use the drop-down menu to ensure the correct transcript version is selected.

7. You can then edit the captions as normal within the text editor.
