In QMplus, groups are a way to organize and manage students within a course. They allow you to create smaller subsets of students for collaboration, discussion, or specific activities. For example, you might have a course with multiple discussion topics, and you can use groups to assign students to different discussion groups.

You can learn more about using groups from guidance created by the provider Groups - MoodleDocs.

Example of groupings in a course

A grouping is a collection of groups within a course. In QMplus, groupings are a way to organize groups within a course. While groups allow you to create subsets of students for various activities, groupings allow you to organize those groups into larger sets.
