Claudio Vallar, Teaching Fellow in Finance and Economics 

Hello! I am Claudio Vallar and I am a Teaching Fellow at the School of Economics and Finance, Queen Mary University of London. I teach Excel courses and Financial Modelling in Excel, and I have also been involved in teaching several quantitative modules, including Mathematics and Statistics. 

 I am also a Fellow at the Higher Education Academy. 

 I was awarded QMUL “Education Excellence Award” in 2019 for building the foundations for longer-term improvement to student engagement. I also won the QMUL Students Union “Postgraduate Teaching award” in 2017 and “Academic support award” in 2014.  

 My background is in Statistics and Econometrics and my interests are in topics related to economic demography and econometrics.
