Below are some key dates and events taking place - make sure you make a note of them.
- This week I will be seeing you individually if you have written a script or working independently. If more than one of you are involved in writing the script then by all means all attend.

2. Wednesday 25th at 3pm online - you will pitch to film composer students from the London Guildhall School of Music and Drama. For this, select one person to pitch, you will be able to share your screen if you wanted to share some visuals to give the tone of the film. keep this brief and down to 3 mins, to allow for questions. What is important for this pitch is to be clear about the tone, style and genre. Also any ideas you may already have for music, name your references. Do not be prescriptive "we only want music at the beginning and at the end". After the pitch there will be time for questions.

3. Thursday 26th at 2pm - 4pm- I have organised a Cinematography Masterclass with cinematographer Andreas Neo https://www.andreasneo.co.uk/ This will take place in BLOC cinema
4. Friday 27th 2pm - 5pm I am running a masterclass in directing for my second years, but you are welcome to attend if you want. This is taking place in Arts 2 Film and Drama Studio. I have invited 2 professional actors to work on a scene from A Triangle of Sadness. We will also discuss good practice and relationship between directors and actors.
5. Casting with PRP. - You need to plan your casting minimum 2 weeks before you need the actors to allow time for this to be processed. We work with an external agency called Professional Role Players who only work with professional actors. To request and actor you need to fill out this form

Once filled in - please email me to let me know this has happened. I will then send a booking form to the agency and you will be copied in. They will then send you a choice of actors for the roles specified. you then look a their details and make your selection accordingly. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU ARE SPECIFIC ABOUT THE DATES. You can have a call for 8am with a shoot taking place and 9am and wrapping at 6pm - the times and dates you give are important. DO NOT GO OVER. Please include 2 rehearsal days that happen at least a couple of days before the shoot.
6. Next week - WEEK 6 we will have group meetings that are intended to make sure you are on track with the logistics of your project. These meeting will take place on Thursday between 2-6pm each project will be choose a 30min slot. For those of you working on individual projects, i will arrange a meeting with you between 1pm-2pm on Thursday.
