PASS (Peer Assisted Study Support) is an academic mentoring scheme where 2nd and 3rd-year students support first-years with uni life and studies. It’s well- recognised internationally in the world of HE and looks great on your CV.
As a PASS Mentor/Organiser, you’ll develop:
- Communication & teamwork
- Leadership & organisation
- Public speaking & outreach
You’ll help new students settle in, succeed academically, and feel part of the Queen Mary community — all while deepening your own confidence and subject knowledge.
Roles Available
🔹 Mentor (Voluntary)
- Open to 2nd & 3rd years
- £40 bursary (with training + minimum sessions)
- Flexible,
rewarding, skill-building opportunity
