Dear QMUL Student,

Are you looking for a meaningful extracurricular next year? Join the PASS Mentoring Programme and gain real-world skills that employers love — while making a genuine difference to first-year students in your School.

PASS (Peer Assisted Study Support) is an academic mentoring scheme where 2nd and 3rd-year students support first-years with uni life and studies. It’s well- recognised internationally in the world of HE and looks great on your CV.

As a PASS Mentor/Organiser, you’ll develop:

  • Leadership & organisation
  • Public speaking & outreach

You’ll help new students settle in, succeed academically, and feel part of the Queen Mary community — all while deepening your own confidence and subject knowledge.

  • Open to 2nd & 3rd years
  • £40 bursary (with training + minimum sessions)
  • Flexible, rewarding, skill-building opportunity
