Lovely to see you all, and excited about the work you are going to embark on. A few recaps:
1. next week, no class - you need to meet and execute the 2x2x2x2 exercise (60-90 seconds on any subject/style - 2hrs to come up with an idea / 2hrs to plan the idea / 2hrs to shoot the idea / 2hrs to edit the idea.) upload the film on qmplus and I will arrange a screening at some point.
2. next week you are also meeting to decide what your film will be for the final assignment, you will need to prepare your pitch for the following week - 12th February.
3. Qmplus is a resource for information for the various roles and stages of making a film. Familiarise yourselves with this so you know where you need to find information.
4. if you were unable to attend the class today - let me know, and if possible try to join a group.
5. When you pitch your idea to the whole class on 12th February - you will also have a chance to recruit and change groups - bear that in mind. If anyone who has not attended today and does not attend on 12th February its is very likely you will have to make a visual essay on your own or consider other module as it will be impossible to integrate you in any active group.
