Dear students,
It may be useful if I say a little about how to acquire the set texts for this module.
Only Aristotle's Poetics is freely available as an ebook via the library. This is entirely typical - some publication series and ebook formats aren't legally accessible to libraries in electronic form.
For some of the texts, library ebooks of other translations are available. You may well find these useful, but please bear in mind that these are not the prescribed texts - so you literally wouldn't be reading the same thing as we'll be studying.
The library typically has a few copies of each set text, but not enough for every student (this is a matter of library policy). As a rule, if the prescribed edition isn't available as a library ebook, you should acquire your own copy.
There are of course various ways to do this. Second-hand copies are an inexpensive option, and can be ordered online via two portals for second-hand booksellers: abebooks and alibris. When searching, you may want to list the results by price - for abebooks you can list by 'Lowest Total Price', i.e. including shipping.
The Burial at Thebes is also available in Kindle format - some of you may prefer this option.
Best wishes,
Adrian
