Applications are now open for Virtual Speed Moot, taking place on Monday 4th November
This event is open to any student thinking of applying for pupillage at Quadrant Chambers during the 2025 round. First prize is a £150 Amazon voucher, second prize is £75 Amazon voucher.
The competition will be individual, with each participant preparing both sides of a short moot problem based on contract law. 7 minutes will be allowed per participant per round, with a total of 6 rounds for the most successful mooters.
Participants will be selected either on the quality of their applications or on a first come, first served basis, depending on the total number of applications received. As stated above, there are 64 spaces available.
To give maximum opportunity to a broad range of students, there is a limit of 6 accepted applications from each institution.

The moot problem and full instructions will be provided by 4:30 pm on Friday 1st November 2024. We anticipate preparation of about half a day will be needed but with no additional research being necessary. The moots will be judged by Members of Quadrant, and mooters will be given feedback on their performance.
The evening will also feature workshops and talks covering pupillage, life at Quadrant and the commercial bar, and other relevant topics.
