Welcome to the Dissertation module! I will be the interim module lead while Dr Meg Clinch is on a research sabbatical, and she will take over from January.In addition to your taught modules this term, we will also run three workshops to get you thinking about your dissertation projects. These workshops will take place at the following times (**NOTE: In the induction slides it said the first of the workshops would take place on the 9th of October. This has now been moved to the 16th of October**):

Please take a look at the QMPlus page for the module to see what you are expected to prepare ahead of these workshops, and generally to familiarise yourself with the dissertation process. I will also email you in advance of the first workshop with instructions.
The dissertation workshops will usually be followed by our Policy Insight lecture series, details of these will follow later.
If you are a part-time student, please note that you do not need to participate in the dissertation workshops until the second year of your studies (though you are of course welcome to attend this year too.
