EVENTS AND PROGRAMMES

  • As part of Autism Acceptance Week, the Careers and Enterprise team and the Neurodiversity Society will be hosting a screening of the BBC documentary 'Inside our Autistic Minds' - followed by a panel discussion with various speakers from across the QMUL community sharing their experiences & perspectives. It’s taking place 25th March 3-4pm Geog 2.26 and you can sign up for a spot here: https://qmul.targetconnect.net/leap/event.html?id=13876&service=Careers%20Service.

  • Additionally, auticon (https://auticon.com/uk/) is coming in to run an event for us called Autism and Applying for Graduate Jobs. It is taking place online on 27th March at 1pm, and will take you through simple ways to think about the skills you have, understand what employers are really looking for in their job adverts, and how to match your skills to their requirements.   The session will be useful to all but will have a focus on tips for neurodivergent jobseekers.  The session will also cover some advice on asking for reasonable adjustments and identifying supportive employers. Book yourself a spot via this link: https://qmul.targetconnect.net/leap/event.html?id=13840&service=Careers%20Service.
