Tower Hamlets Career Insight Event, 7th Dec,
9.30am-12.30pm
Location: New Town Hall (160 Whitechapel Rd, London
E1 1BJ, 5 minutes by bus or 20 min walk from Mile End campus)
The event will be delivered by staff who are on the National Graduate Development Programme - the Local Authority equivalent to the Civil Service Fast Stream, an amazing programme which offers graduates the chance to work in responsible roles across multiple departments as well as providing a L7 leadership qualification https://www.local.gov.uk/ngdp-candidates.
The programme for the morning is as follows:
Presentations from
- existing NGDP staff
- newly graduate trainees
- Council NGDP placement coordinator
- representative from the National Graduate Development Programme to speak about some of the new schemes they have e.g. Finance/Planning
- group activity
- building tour
- panel discussion with senior members of staff in the council/ex-grads.
