Using the Queen Mary library can be very overwhelming for many neurodivergent students. If you're nervous about using the library, whether that be finding books in the confusing numbering system, or checking them out using the self-service machines, we'll go through all of the steps in this library induction event. We'll be joined by one of the library supervisors, Nick Holloway, who will be on hand to answer any questions. Feel free to bring along a book title and we can get your reading week started!
We will be meeting in the Mile End Library Foyer at 2pm, on Wednesday 8th November.
This event is organised by the Students with Disabilities society, but you don't need to be a member to join us. We welcome everyone, whether you have a formal diagnosis or not, or whether you consider yourself to have a disability or not. We want this event to be as useful to as many people as possible.
