The enterprise team have put together a great ‘Working as a Freelancer’ Programme, with QM alumni who are successful freelancers and business owners.

They haven't received many applications from English and Drama and are keen to make sure that you are aware of the programme. Many careers related to writing, theatre, journalism and the arts are likely to involve freelancing, so make the most of this opportunity to prepare yourself!

This new programme is FOR YOU if you identify with one or more of the following statements:

  • Want to make some money but are unsure of where to begin in the freelance world.
  • Know that your dream career is likely to involve freelancing
  • Have embarked on their freelance journey but are facing challenges in making it successful.
  • 88% of students would like their uni to provide more freelance support.

The programme is taking place on Thursday, 6.00-8.00pm, in person at Careers & Enterprise, Room 0.15 on the ground floor of the iQ East building, QMUL Mile End campus.

It runs for 6 consecutive weeks, starting Thursday, 19th October, with the final session on Monday, 20th November.
