Attention all 1st year students!

Hi everyone, hope you all had a good study week!

The PASS Programme is back on this week and it will be happening tomorrow (Tuesday 14th) at 12-1pm in Arts Two: 3.16
and on Thursday 16th March at 1-2pm in iQ East Court (Scape): 0.13.

This is a very important time for everyone as we’ve just started week 8 which means that the term is coming to an end very soon… ( no pressure), so I would like to invite you all to come to our sessions to make sure you get the help you need before your final assignments and exams.

To remind you, in the PASS Sessions, students from the years above are there to guide you and answer any of the questions you might have. As I’ve mentioned before, you can come any time within the session hour, and stay for as long as you’d like :).

If you have any questions beforehand, drop me quick email and I will respond to you as soon as possible.
See you there!

More about pass:

-PASS is a mentoring scheme run for 1st year students by 2nd/final year students . It is a great opportunity for first-year students to get advice from mentors about the transition to university or the adjustment between first and second year.
We are here to help you to find the answers to your questions, to facilitate group discussions, and to provide student-led focused study support. PASS is also a fantastic way to meet and to socialise with like-minded students studying the same courses as you.

WHAT CAN I GET HELP WITH?

  • ESSAY QUESTIONS AND LAYOUTS
  • EXAM PREPARATION
  • TIME MANAGEMENT
  • MODULE RELATED QUESTIONS
  • AND MUCH, MUCH MORE…

HOW WILL PASS BENEFIT ME?

  • Saves you time
  • Opportunity to connect with great minded people
  • Learn from the people who were in the same boat as you
  • Gain greater understanding in your subject

Best wishes,
Aleks.
