Access to free counselling and other wellbeing resources via the BDA Benevolent Fund

Accessing counselling can be difficult.

QMUL offer up to four sessions of counselling but accessing NHS support beyond this can take time.

I have recently learned that the BDA Benevolent Fund will pay for students to attend up to six sessions without needing to speak to them. They will fund extra sessions if needed, after a chat with the student concerned.

The Benevolent Fund is better known for the financial support it offers but now provides access to counselling, an app, a health and wellbeing portal and helpline.
