In the Spotlight: Drama Alumni Careers Panel - 16th March 2022 @ 4pm
We’ve got an incredible panel lined up for our upcoming alumni event. You’ll get to hear how SED graduates have progressed in their careers since leaving Queen Mary. You’ll also gain valuable advice and tips about entering the world of work. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about different roles/sectors, make connections, and have your questions answered in an informal and friendly setting.
Panellists:
- James Lamont - graduated with a BA in English and Drama (2003) and is now a BAFTA/EMMY award-winning Comedy Writer. Work includes; Paddington, Jimmy Fallon, Wasted, Amazing World of Gumball, Cuckoo and Harry Hill.
- Aneeka Verma - graduated with a BA in English and Drama and is now a Film Publicist for Netflix.
- Adrian Polglase - graduated with a BA in English and Drama (2014) and now works as a Journalist/Assistant Producer at the BBC.
- Corinna Bordoli - graduated with a BA in Drama (2007) and is Co-Founder and Director of CocoRio – a childcare agency that employs creative practitioners.
- Rosie Vincent - graduated with a BA in Drama (2017) and is now Managing Director of Roman Road Trust and has also worked as a Drama Practitioner/Access Worker for Half Moon Young People’s Theatre Company

QTaster Virtual Visit to MTM, 16th March, 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
MTM is an international research and strategy consultancy, specialising in media, technology, entertainment and advertising. They help clients improve and grow their businesses in digitally driven, fastmoving markets. In this QTaster session employees from MTM will give you a useful and honest insight into market research industry, different roles available in market research, an overview of the industry, how is the day to day of a researcher, how to get into the industry, skills needed and more!
