Dear students,
Last week I was told that the university will not be recruiting to the BSc in Global Health in September 2021. This was a decision taken at the central level of the university.
This news will come as a disappointment to you, as it has for me and the rest of the global health team.
I am trying to arrange for Professor Steve Thornton to explain the university’s reasoning; and what future plans there may be about the programme.
This does not affect any of you who are planning to take a
year abroad next year.
We will arrange a proper face-to-face meeting before the end of term to discuss this further, but feel free to email me if you have any queries in the meantime.
