Supporting you during this extended national lockdown

Hi everyone,

I'm really sorry about the latest restrictions on normal life due to Covid-19.

As you know, the current government restrictions that began last Thursday exclude schools and universities. And we are continuing to provide a mix of online and on-campus teaching. The latter is being provided by staff who are willing and who feel safe enough to do so, so this may not apply to all modules

We all understand that being or feeling isolated is harmful - and that the restrictions may be especially difficult  for those of you from overseas or whose homes are not in London. So we would like to get a picture of how you are coping; especially those of who from overseas, or who may not have your normal social support systems over the next six weeks.

If you are struggling with social isolation in any way, please can you send an email to Maddy briefly outlining your situation. Please also get in touch with your personal tutor - they are always there to help you.

If you are fine and coping well, then don't feel you need to email.

In the meantime, keep well and enjoy the rest of your semester.

All the best

Andrew
