Visiting Professor from Adnan Menderes University, Turkey

“Community intervention projects – an intersectoral approach”
Professor Erdal Beser specialises in public health. He has been Director of the Public Health Department at Adnan Menderes University in Aydın, Turkey for 23 years. He is president of the Association of “Urban and Public Health” and has set up 3 public health departments.
Over the past 13 years, Prof Beser has been working on a number of projects in Aydın, Turkey. His presentation - Community intervention projects – an intersectoral approach – is an overview of some of the projects he has run within the Aydin region and the impact they have had.
