Module: Health Inequalities and the Social Determinants of Health


Lecture 5: Global Health Policy

This lecture will describe the broad milestones and trends in ‘global health’ that have emerged over the recent decades. It will introduce students to the underlying principles and concepts of comprehensive and selective PHC, and also introduce students to the current state of global health governance and international development assistance for health.  

Seminar

 

This seminar will be based on the content of Chapters 10, 11 and 12 from the CSDH report. Structured guidance for the seminar will be disseminated during the term.
