  • You are required to take 120 credits in each academic year. It is not possible to take less or more than 120 credits.
  • Pay attention to the semester balance of modules, you will need to take 60 credits in each semester.
  • You need to take modules which match your current level of study i.e. Level 5 modules for Year 2, Level 6 modules for Final Year.
  • Students may choose an optional language module at a lower or higher level than their developmental year provided their language level is appropriate for the chosen level and their programme allows this option.
    • The School of Law and the School of Business and Management are not accepting elective requests.
    • The School of Society and Environment (subject areas: Geography, History and Politics) usually consider requests from students outside of their School.
