SED Turnitin Test Submission Point (3 of 3)
- Use this assignment submission point to upload an assignment file in the standard format (.docx) to generate a provisional Turnitin originality index score and report for your work.
- It may take some time for your Turnitin originality index score and report to be generated. This is unpredictable: reports often generate within a couple of minutes but can take several hours to be published to you.
- You can add 1 file to this test assignment submission point at any one time, and 1 file to each of the other two test submission points. In theory, therefore, each student can upload a maximum of 3 different files for report generation at any one time.
- You can replace the file you have uploaded to this Turnitin test submission point as many times as you like to generate a new originality index score and report. However, Turnitin will only generate 3 (three) reports for you in any 24 hour period – after 3 uploads within a day you will need to wait 24 hours before making further submissions.
- No member of staff in SED will routinely review the files uploaded to this test submission point.
- The files uploaded to this submission point may be deleted without warning, so always download a copy of your originality report from Turnitin if you wish to retain a record. The Turnitin website provides guidance about printing your report to PDF.
SED encourages you to think carefully before using this Turnitin test submission point. Turnitin originality index scores always require contextual interpretation. Apparently high scores do not normally represent work that has been plagiarised.
