The module refreshes the existing mathematical knowledge and introduces important mathematical tools used in the undergraduate economics and finance classes. Topics covered include 5 main blocks (of different size):
- Introduction: sets, numbers, Mathematical Induction, Binomial formula, etc.
- Elements of one-variable mathematical analysis and calculus.
- Constrained optimisation (one-variable).
- Introduction to multivariate analysis and optimisation.
- Introduction to linear algebra.
