    • What are honorary titles?

An honorary title is one of the ways in which Queen Mary University acknowledges the relationships with people who are distinguishing themselves either in their own academic institutions or else in fields of activity where QMUL would benefit from association.
Applicants are nominated by a staff member within the Faculty and reviewed and approved by the Faculty. Titles are granted (and renewed) through a nomination and review process through your home academic department and can last for up to 5 years. Honorary Title holders are not considered College employees and do not receive any form of compensation or employment perks.
