EBU6010 - Cryptography and Cyber Security - 2024/25

The module provides an in-depth knowledge of the principles and practice of security and authentication methods used in communication networks. In particular, the strengths and weaknesses of the present state of Security and authentication on the Internet and networks are highlighted. The main focus is placed on: the principle of cryptography, Private and Public-key cryptography, message authentication and digital signatures, and security protocols and methods used in the Internet.
