  • An Academic Advisor will be assigned to you at the beginning of your studies, and they will usually remain your advisor for the duration of your studies with us.

You can find their name and email address under the ‘My Details’ section of your MySIS page.

All Advisors will hold weekly office hours that you are welcome to attend regularly. You can find staff contact details and office hours here: www.qmul.ac.uk/sef/people

Advising is a two-way process that requires a positive and constructive engagement by students. The actual effectiveness of the advising support requires students to familiarise themselves with the regulations concerning the UG programmes, engage with their Advisors, follow the advice received and provide constructive feedback.

    • An overview of the type of support you should expect from your Academic Advisor. Please remember that you can talk to your Academic Advisor for any issues you may be experiencing while you are studying (academic and non-academic).
