We also run an in‑person workshop, Large Group Interactive Teaching in Practice, focused on supporting colleagues who teach large groups and want to explore interactive, evidence‑based approaches. You may wish to attend if you would like to experiment with teaching methods in a large lecture theatre, try out the space and equipment, ask questions, and receive peer feedback in a supportive, low‑stakes environment.
The session is delivered by Valentina Aparicio De Soto and Giorgia Pigato from Queen Mary Academy (QMA), with contributions from John Seamons (TELT).
These sessions are for Queen Mary staff only and must be booked via the CPD site, which requires a Queen Mary account.
If no sessions are currently available, you can register your interest and share the opportunity with colleagues who may also find it useful.

We also run a EchoVideo (Q-Review) session focused specifically on lecture capture software, which is a major area of interest for many staff. You may wish to attend if you would like to learn more about how EchoVideo (Q-Review) works and how it can support your teaching.
These sessions are for Queen Mary staff only and must be booked through the CPD site, which requires a Queen Mary account.
If no sessions are currently available, you can register your interest in attending.

Please consider attending one of our upcoming in‑person Teaching Space Awareness sessions. These usually run in January or September across a range of teaching spaces on our campuses. The workshops give you the opportunity to explore the equipment and ask any questions you may have.
These sessions are for Queen Mary staff only and must be booked through the CPD site, which requires a Queen Mary account.
If no sessions are currently available, you can register your interest in attending.
