How to become a primary care educator

Step 1 :   Review our teaching opportunities page and brochure to decide what teaching you would like to become involved in (practice-based, central etc)

Step 2 :   Complete and return an  application form   to become an accredited Barts and The London teaching practice.

Step 3:   Review our expectations for tutors and practices undertaking practice-based teaching

Step 4:   Our Community Based Medical Education team will review the application and contact the practice to arrange a visit. This practice visit is an opportunity for us to meet with the practice team and discuss teaching options, training, quality, and the practice site and resources etc, to make sure the practice is ready to start teaching.

Step 5:   Once you have been approved, teaching can be allocated to you from our admin team

Remuneration rates can be found here
